Can I see
Freeway play Live before I decide to book them?
Yes we some times play at some public venues, and it even may
be possible to listen to us at private function if prior arrangements
can be made
Can you provisionally book Freeway?
Yes but we can only hold your date for 7 days as we do get
a lot of enquiries especially for Friday and Saturday Nights
Has Freeway ever performed in a marquee?
Yes about 25% of the gigs we do are in Marquee’s but
we would require the following:
Level stage or performance area approx 4mx3m.
Mains power from least 2 separate 13 amp sockets (not a single
4 way extension) we are not able to use generators under
any circumstances.
The Marquee must be easily accessible to load and unload
as we are not able to access over muddy fields or up or down
grassy embankments

How far will Freeway travel?
We are based in Torbay Devon and normally Gig within 100
mile radius, but we have traveled in excess 250 miles,
but we would need over night expenses on long distance

How long does it take you to set up your equipment?
Between 1 hour and a 1hour 15mins depending ease of access
we also need 30mins to get change into our stage clothes |

long have Freeway been together?
Freeway was formed in 1988 so we are now in our 20th year with
the same line up of musicians for the last 10 years and the
same female vocalist for 3 years
How much does Freeway
cost?
Our rates vary according to distance, playing time and overall
time spent on-site. Please contact us for prices.
How much space
does Freeway require?
A typically performance area or Stage should be 4 meters
wide x 3 meters deep (minimum) We have squeezed into a smaller
area so if space is problem please talk to us about this
when booking us
Is your Equipment
P.A.T. TESTED?
Yes, our equipment is tested and certficated.Copies are available
upon request
What happens during
the Break in between sets?
Before we start the first set and during the breaks we have
a wide choice of CDs that can be played or if you have special
CD you would like us to play please let us know. What sort PA and
stage lights does Freeway use?
We have 2.5k Mackie PA system with 16 Channel Mixer Desk
and 4k lighting system with a light controller this would
capable for venues holding up to a least 500 people should
your event be larger we would simply hire larger equipment. |
